Terms like environmental education and sustainability sound great, but can be surprisingly hard to negotiate and define. Nevertheless they are important ideas to explore and and conversations to be had in our modern geographical climate, especially with students as our future generations. Therefore teachers should be particularly interested in addressing and integrating these overarching themes throughout their practice in alignment with countless curricular competencies, and general common sense. Rather than attempt to summarize all of this information in this space, various useful resources will be presented below in order to further guide educators and others in our learning communities to dig a bit deeper and meaningfully incorporate environmental learning into their classrooms, schools, and communities, within BC's New curriculum.
